JOSH GREENE DESIGN
Josh Greene Design is a New York-based interior design studio with a collaborative approach to creating stylish environments that balance functionality, refinement, warmth and comfort.
With over 18 years of experience in the design industry, Josh worked for luminaries including MR Architecture + Décor, Ralph Lauren, Michael Smith and Sawyer Berson, before founding Josh Greene Design. He has earned a place on Architectural Digest’s Ones-to-Watch list as well as Elle Décor’s A-List, the annual directory of top interior design firms. With a versatile and open-minded approach to design combined with an ever expanding range of influences, Josh views each project as an opportunity to craft unrepeatable spaces tailored to each client.
In 2020, Josh presented his first collection of furniture in collaboration with Dowel Furniture. Featuring an array of product categories, all with simple forms and strong geometry, he looked to namely three 20th century design heroes in terms of style precedent: Charlotte Perriand, Karl Springer and Michael Taylor. In 2021, he launched a collection of wood-framed medicine cabinets after years of designing bathrooms and thinking the category was underserved, which earned him a Great Design Award from Architectural Digest. The following year, he debuted his first collection of wallpaper pulling from a variety of inspiration such as nature, architecture and graphic form, all within a unique and identifiable color palette. Product collaborations in other categories are set to launch in 2023.
Josh has been recognized by and featured in publications including The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Luxe, DuJour, House Beautiful, Departures, L’Uomo Vogue, Domino, Better Homes & Gardens, Traditional Home and Elle Décor.
